I met Vivien’s dad as I was almost standing on top of him when I was shooting a wedding at the beautiful old church in Sorn, Ayrshire. He was playing the church organ that day and maybe because I didn’t actually upset his playing, he kindly mentioned me to his daughter.

Just over a year later, Vivien and Ross got married in the same church and what a day it was. They both, along with their bridal parties, got ready at the gorgeous Sorn Castle. Ross, you and the guys looked resplendent, the top hat and the pinks finishing off your outfits perfectly…..but I’ve gotta to say Vivien blew you away, she looked stunning. Along with her bridesmaids, this was a seriously stylish bridal party.

Arriving at the church in a horse and cart (as you do) just added to the style. Nothing to beat a quaint, old village church for a wedding ceremony on a sunny day.

The grounds at the castle are stunning, so everyone took advantage of the sunshine and fizz to chill and enjoy the day before the wedding breakfast. By the time I left, the party was in full swing.
