Pauline and Richard got married in July and it was a nice change to photograph a combination of a church wedding with the reception somewhere else. Only get to shoot a handful of church weddings each year, so it’s cool to be a part of a more “traditional” celebration.

The church itself is in Ardrossan on the Ayrshire coast, right across the road from the beach, so naturally we wanted to head over there once the ceremony was finished. As I always seem to say in my blogs, you would expect in mid July that it would at least be a bit warm….nah, cold and breezy, just the usual. The brave pair were keen to get at least some shots, so off we went. Man I can work quick when I need to 🙂

After that it was off to the wedding reception held at Enterkine House in Ayrshire, yep I was there again 🙂
