My journey so far…

Four years ago I started my little photography business and what an incredible experience it has been. When I look back over that time I find it amazing to see where it has all taken me, the business and in my personal life.

It’s been about a year since I last wrote a blog of any sort, probably because I kinda lost interest in my website as I didn’t think it really reflected where my work was at, so the lack of blog writing reflected that mood.

It wasn’t until last August when I held the first public viewing of my work with a project I had been working on, that the state of my website slapped me in the face…..and who better to tell you that than the guy who designed it in the first place ☺

Alan came along that night and his reaction was…”you need to change your website, I didn’t know that you were doing this kind of work”….As ever, these things never happen overnight, however, my new site is here and I’m back to writing my blogs.

Four years ago I didn’t really have much of an idea about the kind of work I really wanted to do and in truth, it took about 18 months to understand where I wanted to be, the style of images I wanted to create, the place in the photography world that I wanted to play in….. I definitely wouldn’t say that I am there yet, but I am loving the path that I am on.

I have been so fortunate to meet some incredible people, visit amazing places across Europe and the US, make new friends and to create a body of work that seems to resonate….

But nothing stands still, I strive to be more creative, adventurous in what I do, continue to seek new challenges and opportunities and always looking to learn.

For me, I just want to have fun doing what I do and to be “in the moment” each and every day.

I hope you like the new site, feedback is always welcome…and I look forward to sharing more of my work with you.

Finally, thank you to everyone that has been part of my journey so far, I couldn’t have done it without you.
